Style in Review; Zoe Saldana

Janet Lane once said that ‘of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important’; I find this quote to be the most prevalent with this month’s style review ; actress Zoe Saldana.

 

Young, upbeat, cute and sexy are the words that come to mind when I think of Zoe Saldana’s personality and her clothes reflect the woman inside her making her a style star. Similar to her career she’s not afraid to play with shape, cut, fabric and colour, her ability to play with different looks and styles is what makes her stand out in the crowd.

She’s not hesitant to  break the rules and doesn’t stick to trends followed by her Hollywood peers, sticking to a certain colour pallet of greys, reds, navy blues and hues of purple, she dresses her straight-up and down petite frame with modern cuts by classic designers like Louis Vuitton who have the womanly heritage which she values both in her personal and work life, but also wears new young fresh talent who endlessly experiment with print and colour.

This goes with her beauty- she keeps it simple and chic always highlighting her best feature, which is her face. High cheekbones, sparkling sexy oval eyes with feminine arched eyebrows and a smile that would bring fun and happiness to any room. From red carpet to car park, she is one whose dress personality evokes a sense of coolness, sensuality, style and bucket loads of fun!
